Do you consider yourself a passionate advocate? Are you interested in meeting your legislators to discuss issues such as healthcare, employment, etc.?
Join us for the upcoming AZDAC Legislative Training & Mentoring Day as well as the accompanying learning session the day before. We will focus on learning skills related to advocacy and the legislative process, through practical experience and mentoring support.
This will be a two-day experience. Participants must attend both days. The first day will be an intensive training on relevant legislative issues and advocacy tips with role play. The second day you get to use your skills and interact with state legislators at the Arizona State Capitol. We will work in teams with mentors.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Space is limited so register now!
